Hobart... Again

I spent the weekend in Hobart with my good friend Jen (Jenny, Jennifer hahaha). We went out on Friday night. Here we are drinking champagne, eating cheese and playing skip-bo.

We were in the Queen's Head, a pub near Jen's house and the guy gave us the wrong champagne and we said it was ok if he gave us strawberries... He didn't have any so he gave us some Jaffas instead, we put them in our drinks and our drinks turned red... Amazing.

We thought it was funny anyway.

Lauren and Bec

Here I am in my Gran's spa with my friends/cousins Bec and Lauren. Lauren and Bec are my most committed blog readers I imagine. They are also frequent messenger users and keep me from feeling too homesick when I am away. They will be embarrassed to be on here.... Bvahh mahaha mahaw.... (evil laugh)

Port Arthur and Surrounds

After Bicheno we went to Port Arthur, the whole trip started from wanting to do the Ghost Tour there. We did it and it was great, that was my favourite part of the whole thing. No photos of that though... And no we didn't see any ghosts!

Here is me in the penitentiary which is the biggest building there, it's usually on all the post cards and stuff.


We did a short boat trip round the Isle of the Dead and out into the harbour, it was great fun, very windy and choppy (although they told us it was a calm day compared to normal).


Here is the Remarkable Cave, which is just nearby. It was quite remarkable. The coast line in this area of Tasmania is quite amazing.

Hobart

We spent the weekend in Hobart at Ed's house. We went out on Friday night and I have got to say it was a classic night that we will laugh about for a long time to come.

Here is Rach with Ed. Her Aunt and Uncle initiated their meeting and they are quite friendly... He seems like a really nice guy. (pay me later Ed)

Holiday in my Holiday

Last week... Or the week before, Rach and I went down the East Coast. We stayed a night in Bicheno, a night in Port Arthur and two nights with Rach's 'special friend' Ed. Finally I have organised some of the pics and am bothering to post them.

Bicheno is really a very beautiful place. This is us on the big beach with Diamond Island in the back ground.

This is the Cosy Cabin we stayed in, firght in the middle of the town. It was very nice an I would reccomend it... It was a Deluxe one.
